iFly indoor skydiving review

Updated on:

I recently had the amazing opportunity to try indoor skydiving at iFly Singapore. As someone who has always wanted to skydive but been too afraid of jumping out of a plane, this was the perfect experience for me.

From the moment I arrived at iFly, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. They guided me through the whole process step-by-step. First, I watched a safety video explaining the hand signals I’d need to know and what to expect during the flight. Then I was suited up in a jumpsuit, goggles and helmet. The instructors made sure my gear was securely fitted so I would be safe and comfortable in the wind tunnel.

When it was my turn to fly, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. My instructor led me into the glass flight chamber and the wind slowly started up. It began as a gentle breeze then quickly intensified to a 120mph full force wind! The sensation of floating on air was unbelievable – it felt like skydiving but without having to jump from extreme heights.

My instructor held my hands to stabilize me and teach me basic body positioning. I was amazed at how easy it was to fly and turn simply by arching my back or moving my arms and legs slightly. We practiced a few cool aerial spins and tricks. I’ll never forget the feeling of freedom floating on the air cushion created by the walls of the wind tunnel.

After 2 incredible flights, my indoor skydiving experience was over all too quickly. I walked away exhilarated, ecstatic and wanting more. It’s an experience I won’t soon forget.
